When a peer is promoted and is now your boss, things change. The situation can become more complicated when one of the other team members applied and didn’t get the promotion. It can feel overwhelming, and many new leaders have no idea where to start. Ila and Charles describe the courageous things a new leader can do to build trust in all this complexity.
